Sveti Ivan (St John’s) beach is located in a cove at the foot of Lubenice, a place which is situated on a steep cliff from where there extends a beautiful view of the white pebbly beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Cres. The beach can be reached by foot from Lubenice or by boat, independently or organised. The beach is interesting because of its privacy, untouched nature and scents. It is ideal for a rest because its inaccessibility means there are not many bathers. The beach can be reached by descending down the steep trail from Lubenice or from the sea by boat. The German magazine Bild listed Sveti Ivan beach as 15th in the top 40 of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
