ZRIN festival is dedicated to all those yearning for adventure in the untouched nature, for culture in the authentic surroundings, for beauty, peace and joy in the fresh air of the refreshing untouched nature; for fine energy, literally healing as is the spring water from numerous ancient springs around the area – since Banovina is an area with such strong energy which makes you feel rejuvenated and refreshed after only a short time spent there! Multimedia ZRIN festival is opened by the concert of the Croatian Army Wind Symphony Orchestra in the area where the famous hero Nikola Šubić Zrinski was born and The Zrinski family ruled for 200 years. In the beautiful nature by the River Una, in Hrvatska Kostajnica, we will promote the collection of poems by Nikola Kristić, who is preparing a very attractive evening of music and poetry. For the first time, the festival is going to open the doors of St. Catherine’s Church with the concert by Ensemble PRO ‘800 to enhance the 230th anniversary of the Parish in Komarevo. We would like to emphasise the possibilities offered by the interaction between medical tourism and culture with the events organized in Topusko, which has recently celebrated the 200th anniversary of contemporary Spa and Medical Resort located on the springs of healing thermal water. This year we would like to present the extremely dedicated painters from the area with the exhibition entitled Between dreams and memories, which will be presented to numerous guests in Top Terme Hotel and the festival audience, in cooperation with the artist association Moslavački štrk from Popovača. After the exhibition opening, there is a concert by Hrvoje Pintarić, the horn and Croatian String Quartet in the Church of Blessed Virgin Mary’s Campaign. Multimedia, as the guiding light of this year’s ZRIN festival, has been enriched by the promotions of two great books: The Zrinski Historiography – selection and Croatian Historical Atlas, which will be presented in Veliki Kaptol in Sisak by the authors themselves – Krešimir Regan and Vlatka Dugački. The festival will be closed with music and extraordinary musicians in the beautiful ambiance of our churches in the heart of Banovina – in Gore, with the performance by Krešimir Lazar, the cello and Krešimir Has, the harpsichord and in Hrvatski Čuntić, where we will have an opportunity to listen to an unusual performance by two clarinet players Abdul-Aziz Hussein and Ante Krpan.
