Lipik 3x3 Challenger will take place in Lipik on  June  14th and 15th, the fourth year in a row, and the last 3 Challengers confirmed that it is the strongest and best regional and European 3x3 Challenger, as well as world class event. This is confirmed by the fact that in the last three years in Lipik played teams from 4 continents and 18 countries. In particular, from Japan, Australia, United States, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, France, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

By the decision of the International Olympic Committee, in the summer of 2017, 3x3 basketball official officially became a new Olympic sport and will have its premiere in 2020 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. According to the IOC research, 3x3 basketball is currently the most popular and fastest growing urban team sport in the world. The 3x3 competition system is similar to the ATP system. It should also be noted that the FIBA ​​3x3 Challengers in this sport are in the same competition ranking as the sky "Snow Queen" in Zagreb or the tennis ATP tournament in Umag.

Over the past two years, the 3x3 Challengers network has expanded to 26 cities and Lipik is, in the organizational sense, alongside cities like Moscow, Sydney, Bucharest, Seoul, Sao Paolo, Chengdu, Penang, Berlin, Edmonton, Ulaanbaatar, Doha ...

With its population of 2,170 people, Lipik is the smallest 3x3 Challengers host town, so it is known in the 3x3 world as "the smallest world 3x3 basketball capital"!

In addition to the sport spectacle, visitors during the two-day tournament enjoy numerous additional contents, rich prize-winning games, interesting activation competitions, with a rich gastro offer and with inevitable and now widely known party in the famous area of ​​the former department store "Budućnost" in Lipik. Lipik 3x3 Challenger has strong media coverage, so in the last two years, live broadcasts from Lipik were produce through Arenasport Television in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia. We will continue cooperation again this year, and the whole event will also be live streamed on official Fiba 3x3 Youtube channel, which has about 200,000 subscribers and is being watched all over the world.
